This volume is a collection of poems, songs, music, folklore, history and archaeology focusing on Disert graveyard and its beautiful surroundings in the foothills of the Blue Stack Mountains of Co. Donegal. This fascinating archaeological site dates back at least as far as the early medieval period, when it was the centre of a monastic community. The monks have long gone but the holy well, graveyard and arch continue to be important today as places of spiritual significance and pilgrimage.
The volume was launched in August 2018 and sold out by early October. At the moment we do not have any more copies available, however if there is demand we may consider reprinting.
